We give you a fascinating tour of Dubai. Begin by warming up to the City of Dubai by knowing its history when we take you to Majlis Al Ghorfat - a structure which was built in 1955. Our route, as we start, would be from Burj Al Arab, a landmark hotel of Dubai, to the Majlis. What’s more, the recently restored structure initially served as the summer getaway of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al-Maktoum. Our next stop would be the expansive Jumeirah Mosque where you can indulge in selfies or even an elaborate photo session. Enjoy the sight of modern palaces en route to the mosque. Once done, we move on to Dubai’s Bastakia area which has these fascinating old-wind-towered houses. They were built with much enthusiasm by wealthy merchants. Zabeel Palace is of course an en route attraction. Our next stop would be the 200-year old Al Fahidi Fort, which remains a primary trading and pearl diving centre. Find the rich history of the city in the Dubai Museum which is a part of the fort. Next up is a view of the traditional Abra where you can see a modern metropolis. It is characterized by awe-inspiring architecture on its banks. Love souks? Our next destination would be spice and gold souks.
